Light at the end of the Tunnel

Description

Dripping onto the bed of the over head projector, used car oil. A monotonous, seemingly inconsequential drip drip drip acting as a translation of the metaphorical light at the end of the tunnel that Slavoj Zizek describes in his book The Courage of Hopelessness (2017). He argues that only if humanity acknowledges that the light at the end of the tunnel ( the current path society is on) is an oncoming train will we be able to collectively find a new path. The dripping oil, over the course of time (the length of a performance) slowly blacks out the light projected onto the walls of the space.
